2.21.07 The Hero Cycle at Higher Ground

First pictures!

First Post

I moved to Burlington, VT a little over two years ago from Brooklyn, NY and I continue to be amazed by the citizens of this small New England city. Burlington is a mix of college students, young professionals, farmers, and families; and has a repution for being a haven for "hippies." I don't want to offend anyone reading this but before I moved here I thought that dreads had long gone out of "style" (were they ever really in style?) - not so here in Burlington.

Of course, living in a cold and snowy climate can deter even the most style obsessed from wearing heels but does that mean we have to sacrifice style for sensibility? NO! It does not. And this blog is going to prove it.

I own a store here in Burlington; Made Boutique & Gallery which lets me interact with a large mix of Burlingtonions. I hope to be able to update this blog weekly with photos of my customers as well as photos of random people I walk up to while I'm about town. Which is very hard to do by the way as I have a touch of social anxiety so if I ask you to pose for a pic- please say yes!

If you want to see what I'm wearing, check out Wardrobe Remix. I post to this Flickr group on a semi regular basis and if you have an account you can even comment on what I'm wearing.

Last night I went to a show at Higher Ground and saw quite a few ladies with exceptional style. I'll post those pics later on today. Stay tuned!
